International Relations Office
A strong international orientation is of vital importance in the academic life.
Our University gives high priority to the internalization of studies, with significant emphasis on the exchange of both students and teaching staff with foreign universities.
According to the Bologna six action lines, USAMV has already started to implement the structures of the Bologna Process:
- Adoption of a system of readable and comparable degrees;
- A system essentially based on two cycles: under-graduate and graduate;
- A system of accumulation and transfer of credits (ECTS);
- Mobility of students, teachers and researchers;
- Cooperation with regard to quality assurance;
- The European dimension of higher education.
The International Relations Office deals with the record of bilateral agreements, international research programmes, European programmes (Socrates/Erasmus, Leonardo da Vinci, Tempus-Phare etc.) and cooperation programmes. One of its main aims is to develop further academic partnerships.
